Gurudwara Sahib Singh Sahida Sohana

Gurudwara Singh Shaheedan, which is quite close to the city, has on display shoes of some 500 martyrs. Gurudwara Singh Shaheedan, Sohana, Mohali, a historical shrine situated in Village Sohana in Sas Nagar District, was made in the remembrance of martyrs of Anglo Sikh wars.
The Gurudwara is a place for spiritual solace and tranquility, also commemorates Baba Hanuman Singh Ji – the 7th Jathedar of Budhadal (A warrior Sect of Nihang Singhs) and the Jathadar of Akal Takth Sahib – while fighting against the invading Anglo armed forces at the age of 90 years. Till date crores of rupees have been spent on this spectacular marble structure with its roof lined with gold plating, the building itself is a symbol of tranquil peace, devotion, immense dedication and motivation towards self less service and personification of metaphysical being of the martyrs. sohana near sec.70 mohali punjab; Mohali
