A 21-year-old resident of Sector 28 was killed after an unknown vehicle hit his motorcycle on the road dividing sectors 18 and 19 in a hit-and-run in the early hours of Saturday
Akash was going to meet his friend in Sector 19. A passerby told police control room that a man was lying injured on the road at 2am. A PCR vehicle took Akash to Government Multi-specialty Hospital, Sector 16, where doctors declared him brought dead. Police said Akash, who worked with a private company, was not wearing a helmet.
