Mouni Roy

Mouni Roy is an Indian actress, dancer, and model who predominantly works in the Indian television and film industry. She was born on September 28, 1985, in Cooch Behar, West Bengal, India.

Early Life and Education:
Mouni Roy was raised in a middle-class family in West Bengal. Her father, Anil Roy, is an office superintendent while her mother, Mukti Roy, is a theater artist and a teacher. She has one younger brother, Mukhar Roy. Mouni’s passion for acting and dance developed at a young age, and she started taking lessons in various dance forms, including Kathak and Ballroom.



Mouni completed her schooling at Kendriya Vidyalaya in Baburhat, Cooch Behar, and later pursued her higher education at Miranda House in Delhi, where she graduated in English Literature. Afterward, she went on to pursue a course in Mass Communication at Jamia Millia Islamia University.
