The restrictions like curfew is not been imposed in the Chandigarh and panchkula region today. Just a day ahead for the final crucial judgment in the Sexual harassment case against the Sacha Sauda Sect Chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh by the CBI special court in Panchkula. In both the cities proper restrictions are to be taken like we take in curfew. The government has also put ban on all the social platforms in Punjab and Haryana. They have banned all the mobile internet services in case the situation gets worst.
Nearly almost 2 lakh followers of Ram Rahim have already reached in the Panchkula and also its nearby places from across the neighboring areas and states. Forces are taking all precautionary measures to discourage the followers from reaching Panchkula. Haryana roadways Transport has stopped their buses bound towards Chandiagrh and Panchkula.
From the sources it is found that no private or public bus transport is allowed to enter beyond Ambala. The Chief Minister of Haryana Manohar Lal Khattar has suggested all the ministers to remain stationed till the result announced. As a measure for precaution, administration has announced three days holiday from Thursday in all the schools and colleges in Chandigarh. All the colleges and schools of Haryana to be remain closed till Friday.
A riot control room has been set up by the forces in Panchkula. And the suspense is still prevailed and all the followers and other people are waiting for the final decision by the court. The administration is still trying to convince the followers to avoid violence in case the decision is against him.
