World’s Water Day

Significance of World’s Water Day- 22nd March 2018

We are very well aware from the fact that water is considered as human’s life and no person can even survive without water and therefore, we need to know the importance of the water and should take the various needed steps in order to conserve it. So, in order to create awareness among people related to water conservation, we used to celebrate this World Water Day. It is being celebrated each and every day on 22nd of March in order to contribute by focusing on the importance of having clean and fresh water. This day is celebrated in the whole world in order to go for advocating the need of preserving the fresh water resources by following sustainable development and hence, the US finally declared this day as World’s Water Day. The theme which is being decided for this day is “Nature for Water” which actually refers to taking certain steps for exploring the various solutions on the basis of nature to all the challenges we face related to water in the 21st century.

According to the various reports received, about 63 million of people are there which are living their life without having proper access to clean water and as a result it will cause damage to ecosystem as well as health of various people. Now, the question arises why there is need to celebrate this day? Then the answer to this question is very simple that we all know water is our basic need and through this day we try to call the people’s attention towards different challenges related to water conservation and other problems. As there are many parts present in the world where there is very less amount of water supply and unsafe water supply and therefore, through the various campaigns on this day, we give our contribution t create awareness among maximum people worldwide.

It also tries to focus on providing enough supply of clean and fresh water to most of the areas in world and this day is also being celebrated in order to go for ensuring the sustainable management of the various resources of the scarce water found on both the local as well as international levels. They always try their best to deliver messages to use only fresh water to avoid getting effected from different water borne disease by taking help from the various campaigns. These can be considered some of the important reasons which you need to know in order to understand the importance of this day.
